Winrich Crayon
What is crayon or oil pastel?
A crayon is a stick of colored wax, charcoal, chalk, or other material used for writing and drawing. A crayon made of oiled chalk is called an oil pastel; when made of pigment with a dry binder, it is simply a pastel. Wax crayons are commonly used for drawing and coloring by children. They are relatively easy to work with, blunt (removing any risk from sharp points, non-toxic, and available in a wide variety of colors. Wax crayons are not commonly used by artists because of the difficulty in mixing colors.
How many colors in Winrich Crayon?
Currently Winrich makes more than 120 different crayon colors as well as an array of materials to stimulate children’s creative development. And thanks to innovative technology, we offer crayon products that sparkle with glitter, glow in the dark, smell like flowers, change colors and even wash off walls and other surfaces and materials.
For over 38 years, PANTONE Color Systems have enabled designers and manufacturers worldwide to specify and communicate accurate color. Today, PANTONE is the recognized leader in color communication for the graphic arts, apparel, home furnishings, beauty and industrial design communities. PANTONE provides color trend direction for the vast majority of consumer products ranging from fashion to home. The Pantone Color Institute, the educational arm, provided and sponsored some of the color information for Color Corner.
